Can you already play the guitar but frustration has set in?
I know exactly how you feel when it comes to being frustrated with the guitar. Every person who learns to play the guitar will at some point get a bit disillusioned with how things are progressing. And yes, it’s true that learning the guitar can be frustrating, but if you are taught in a certain type of way, these frustrations can be easily overcome and your progress becomes much faster. Fortunately, there are lots of ways to combat this problem and turn these frustrating moments into positive ones. I can show you how quickly and easily it is with dedicated guitar lessons which are always aimed at improving your playing and enjoyment.
Are you a beginner and don’t know where to begin?
I will show you exactly what to do as well as what to start learning. Your first and immediate goal would be for you to learn to play something straight away in your very first lesson. I know it can be quite daunting when you start out but it doesn’t have to be. The amount of information out there nowadays is very overwhelming and it would be very easy to get lost and confused with what to learn first. Having a great teacher who understands this will steer you in the right direction and stop you from getting overwhelmed.
Are you a parent looking for the perfect start with guitar lessons for your child?
One of the most important things for a child when learning any instrument is for it to be lots of fun. My main focus when teaching children is making sure that they have a smile on their face after each and every guitar lesson. The material that I teach to children is taught in a different way to what I would teach to an adult.
I teach from my purpose built music studio in Willerby, which will always enhance the learning experience for your child. Rather than teaching from a back room in a house, I now teach in a more fun and relaxed room with no possible distractions.
What My Students Say
Scott’s passion for guitar is evident in his tutoring and he keeps things interesting and fun. He is always contactable between lessons if I have any problems before the next lesson.
I started guitar lessons with Scott in March 2014. The lessons are enjoyable & fun with Scotts friendly & enthusiastic approach to teaching. I like the fact that I get the opportunity to learn songs of my own choice & feel after passing my first guitar grade that Im making good progress. I would happily recommend Scott to anyone with a passion to learn the guitar.
I have been playing rhythm guitar for a very long time but recently decided to learn lead guitar. I started having lessons with Scott 4 months ago and my progression during this very short time has been amazing to say the least. This is down to an excellent guitar tutor supporting me both during and in between lessons through emails and borrowing guitar books. The lessons are money well spent and I would highly recommend Scott to either a beginner or a more advanced guitar player (Ian Shepherdson)
